Tarsila was really a great painter in our country, a big name in the forefront of modern art here. His father was a wealthy coffee plantation in São Paulo which allowed to study painting in Paris, Fernand Léger. I really like her work. Was walking away this time, a friend of the images.

My grandmother always said: "The wealthy people have many pleasures, the poor ones many children" - and in this case it is true: having a father who can send you to Paris to study that's a huge pleasure!

Hello !

I am a passerby who came here by mere coincidence ( but a good one i am sure ! ). I was searching for works of Tarsila do Amaral and google led me to you, so i wanted first to express my admiration for your blog, second to inquire from you about the names of the paintings since i display them in an art-work;s page so the identification of the work is necessary !

Many thanks in advance and warm regards from Cairo, Egypt
