The Heart Book

This heart book is from Denmark. It dates back to
the beginning of the 1550s, and is regarded as the oldest
Danish ballad manuscript. Above you see the ballad no. 43,

Store længsel, du går mig nær -
Great Yearning, thou touches me

Hi, I am publisher. I published the facsimile edition of the Chansonnier de Jean de Montchenu. It is another heart book that you can find here: http://www.vgesa.com/vgeman118i.htm I would like to know where is the Danish book of the Princess Anne. Do you know it? Perhaps you know the Signature of the book and the name of the library. Thank you in advance. Fernando.

Hi Fernando!

Oh, yes I know Chansonnier de Jean de Montchenu - it is so, so beautiful! And thanks a lot for the link!!

But I don't know the book you are refering to (the Princess Anne book...). Is it an old book? A heart book as well? Do you have the full title?

Here in Denmark we have two major collections of antiqued books:

1) The Royal Library http://www.kb.dk/en/index.html

2) The Royal collection http://kongehuset.dk/english/Historical-Collections/Books-manuscripts-and-maps

Maybe you'll find the Princess Anne book there...

Best wishes,
Mette
