'Go-visit-weekend'

A long time ago I promised you that I wanted to show you some
photos from my trip to the Goetheanum...did I do it? NO! So I'll
do it now! I've read more and more about Waldorf and Rudolf Steiner
(1861-1925) during the last 7 years or so. It began when I became
a PH.D.-student: I soon started to study together with a guy who
had an anthroposophical education...we worked together night and
day - literally - and of course he told me a lot of things about the
ideas of Rudolf Steiner....and a lot of it made sense to me: The organic
thinking, use of colours etc. My friend does research in Italy at the
moment, but we met up in Switzerland...and had the best time...
in spite of the vulcanic cloud ;O)
Photos!

The main building

Step inside, please:

The use of concrete for buildings was a new thing when the
2nd Goetheanum was made in 1924-28...so it had another
'meaning' than it has today....

huuuuge glass windows...

I did, I did....only for you!!! Actually I have some other photos from inside the main building that are beautiful too (ooooh, listen to her...silly woman!!)...the use of colour and shapes made it so easy to take lovely pics.
