Eleanor is my favorite character in all of history! So fascinating and unique for her time, and indeed for any time ...

I also love "Lion in Winter," even though we know it is a highly fictionalized and romanticized account of a family Christmas!

Thank you Mette' - once again we have a thing or two in common!

A new book Alienor - The Young Life of Eleanor of Aquitaine about her girlhood that made her what she became.
