What wonderful scenes of family life, they certainly depict an era long passed ...but I am sure that I belong to that era. I think I would have been one of the ladies in the first painting. I would have been sitting by that most wonderful of windows in my beautiful gown stitching something exquisite!
Me again ;-)
You mentioned the story of the wavemakers Mette and I am sure that you told me about the mermaid making the waves or the foam but now can't find where you mentioned it ...I am interested to know more.
I have been looking back on all your blogs to find it and I found so much of interest that i hadn't seen before, you must post so much while I am asleep! You find some real treasures.
Hi Marilyn...hmmm I couldn't remember where I posted anything about waves...so I just HAD to make another post. And thanks for your love comments...I think I'm born 'many years too late', too.I wish we could go back in time...if only for a short visit ;O)
