On this rainy Monday I want to share a couple of lovely paintings
with you - they belong to one of my blog friends, Jacques.
It is with Jacques' permissions I now post two of his 15 (!)
paintings by the French artist Adolphe La Lyre (1850-1935)

Actually, I don't know which one I love the most...maybe
the one above...but on the other hand...they are both beautiful!
