polar bear is so cool! what is fastelavn?
the spring fighting off winter, we have something similar in irish folklore-on may 1st (bealtaine) the may king must marry the may queen to put the winter queen to sleep!

Oh. Eimear, you have to click on the 'fastelavn' etc. they are links..fastelavn is a carnival befor the lent started. Today children dress up, having fun...
