Hi Ana de Castro! Welcome!! Thanks for you comment ans sharing your thouhts.You're right that life and death go hand in hand...but I've never thought that about this image. I think it is a farm boy maybebe a shepherd...and as he is never used to have his photo taken he looks very serious...
