Pico Dreams
After working hard in the kitchen,
and following a good meal, Pico the gnome
lowered his head on a mossy pillow and his
eyes shut fast. The stars were shining over
the trees and all was at peace in the forest.
Softly a fairy emerged from the mist amongst
the meadow flowers and sang,
weaving dreams around him:
Sweetly sleep, dreaming sleep,
Have no fear, have no care.
Let my song make you strong
For the day will bring dismay!
