Windows by Sigmar Polke (1941-)

One year ago I went to Switzerland to se Rudolf Steiners
Goetheanum in Dornach. We also went to see Basel and
Zürich - and saw these magical windows of Grossmünster
Cathedral
, Zürich, made by the artist Sigmar Polke (1941-)
- they totally took my breath away...like the whole trip did!

Grossmünster has twelve exquisite windows
by Sigmar Polke - church windows where the glass
has been impregnated with thin slices of agate

One of the window was pictured, while
still on the bench in process

I tell you these images don't show how beautiful they are...when the sun light shines through them...so heavenly!
