Canna? We call it 美人蕉(meirenjiao) in China, it is of strong vitality, I planted several canna years before, now, the newly grow-up canna has taken quite an area. I love its red colour, beautiful, esp, in the morning and in the dusk.

The flower is a canna ----- they are very tropical looking and do great in summer. They are frost tender but will come away again in the spring. We grow them out side here in New Zealand and I also have some growing in pots which enables me to move them out of sight in the down season!! Greetings form New Zealand.

The place is called Lyngby...it is north of Copengagen. And thank you to a friend in NZ! Such a great idea to grow them in pots!
