Dear friends,
Happy Martinmas to you all!
I've been collecting 'lantern images' all
year long to celebrate Martimas on Nov 11th;
I do not have all the titles...nor all the links,
so please bear with me on this...but I hope you'll
enjoy 'a bit of light in the darkness' anyway!

What beauty!
Thanks for the "light" to share here
Your blog is such a visual treat. I did not know about Martinmas until now, and have enjoyed the generous collection of lanterns and cheer immensely. A Hawaiian like me, living in the Pacific Northwest U.S. needs lantern cheer. Thank you, Mahalo nui loa.

Hi Clarissa Rodriguez...light is so wonderful as it gets darker...it is hyggeligt...it gives such a cozy feeling!
Thanks for your lovely comment, mokihana! Welcome! No, I think Martinmas isn't celebrated so much as I would like it to be ;O) Here in Denmark I think some kindergsardens celebrate it...and then of course the Waldorf schools, which have and celebrates many seasonal festivals...
