it's been such a long time since i've lived anywhere with
snow though i did pretty much have my fill growing up in mich-
igan. about 20 years ago, though, i took an unexpectd trip
to denver in the springtime. the trees were all beginning to
leaf out. then one night it snowed all night. leaving a very
white town. as it melted the next day, i could go home
