Bunnies are not well-liked where I live. You may be surprised to know that we are over-populated with bunnies in my neighborhood which sits smack in the middle of the Sonoran desert in Arizona. Our bunnies normally eat desert plants but since humans have moved in to their area, they now dine on lots of lovely flowers, shrubs, and even trees! No carrot rattles for these bunnies anytime soon.
Oh, yeah I've heard of bunnies like that: eating everything, digging wherever they can! Not funny at all if one has a garden - I also think you have a point in saying that "humans have moved in to their area"...or like we see in other parts of the world where bunnies/rabbit rabbits were introduced to a new habitat - like Australia or Tasmanian - and the rabbits become a national pest. The interaction rabbits-humans are not always that good!! But...I love them (I see them so seldom...)
I would love to have rabbits as national plague! Jeje.. :)
Oh,yes those small bunnies...cute for some...a bit too much for others...
