...and people got up early to see 'the Whitsun sun
dance' In the 19th century people from Copenhagen went
to 'Frederiksberg Have' (a park) or to Dyrehaven to picnic
and watch the sun rise on Whitsunday - if they had
not been celebrating Whitsun all night long drinking,
dancing and eating...like many people did...
