Dear Mette,
Many thanks for sharing Raminou today. What a fantastic name. You may remember I have a passion for all things feline. The little girl from Spitalfields looked happy in spite of her life. Maybe because she had a cat to love.

Marilyn, I thought of you when I made this post! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Animals heal people... when I was young I worked at a nursing home...and there was a cat...during the day it went from room to room to say hi to everyone. One of the people living there was an old, demented gentleman - we were seldom able to communicate well with him...but the cat knew how to reach him: it sleept on him for hours...and the old man stroke its back again and again..his hands just knew what to do althought they couldn't "remember" to do anything else...
