I love my trollbead bracelet - and at the moment it
looks like this...I just wanted to show you a new bead I got
yesterday: Odin with his ravens Huginn and Muninn on the
front and Odin's wolves Geri and Freki on the back - behind
Odin's chair. Odin's chair is named Hliðskjálf - the high seat
that allows Odin to into all realms. Around his neck is Draupnir -
a gold ring possessed by Odin with the ability to multiply itself:
Every ninth night eight new rings 'drip' from Draupnir, each
one of the same size and weight as the original. The
bead is not mass produced so I'm glad to own one!

The bead is an almost true copy of a silver Odin
figurine found in Lejre here on Zealand, Denmark.
It dates back to app. 900 AD. It is ca. 2 cm.

Dear Mette,
Your new bead is lovely as are the others on your bracelet. I was not familiar with the trollbeads so have looked at the web-site with great interest! What a special bead for your collection.
Thank you Marilyn - Trollbeads - and Pandoura - are a European concept (Actually Danish, I think) - funny, beautiful...and a bit expensive...but when first you get started...
