Kråkenes lighthouse

Kråkenes Lighthouse is a coastal lighthouse in the
municipality of Vågsøy in Sogn og Fjordane - between Ålesund
and Bergen in Norway. It was established in 1906, and automated
in 1986. In 1997 a café opened in the lighthouse - and you can
spent the night in the lighthouse's bridal suite!

I've found all the vintage photos here:

Anders Folkestadås was foreman in the lighthouse service
and led the construction of Kråkenes lighthouse in 1906.
The photo is taken by himself

Hi

Thanks for your welcome. I like vintage photos too and old postcards, so thats why I liked your blog. People are always so welldressed on old photos and it`s interesting to wonder how they lived.

Take care!

Hej! Oh, that is why you like the polar bear...thanks for telling me! you are right...they alway wore the best cloth they owned; being photographed must have been a special occasion for them back then...
