Sjúrður was, around the year 1300, head of Shetland
and was also official head of state of the Faeroe Islands.
Sjúrður was, together with Bishop Erlendur author of
the Faeroese Seyðabrævið in 1298 - a document
with land use rules for the Faeroe Islands, and
the Faeroes' oldest document.

Me tiene fascinada el Norte... ojalá algún día pueda ir hasta allí, a Dinamarca, Noruega... y ver la Aurora Boreal... sería mi sueño junto com ir también a Japón...

Thanks a lot for the link...I went there and it looks like a very nice website! I know the dream of travelling! I've never been to Japan but I would love to! I'm so lucky to have visited Norway...and the other countries "up here": Sweden, Finland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands and Greenland. I have lived in Greenland...and have seen many Aurora Borealis...so amazing so no words can describe it...
