William Henry Fox Talbot was the inventor of the
negative-positive process of photography makes a series
of so-called 'photogenic drawings'. Process is as follows: fit a
variety of subjects on the light-sensitive paper and expose to
the sun. The exposure of photographic paper produces a
'light drawing' - a clear outline of the subject
